DRINK & SHINE- SUPPLEMENT FOR YOUR MIND

I have always been a big fan of supplementing my body right with vitamins and minerals that may necessarily be needed as we as a population don’t get enough of this from today’s modern diet. But at the end of the day, all our actions to steer a healthy body starts from the mind… so why not supplement the mind for optimal cognitive function too? Therefore, I tried out Shine+ Drink- it is Australia’s first drink consisting on compounds that enhance mental performance and brain health.

Shine+ Drink doesn’t contain artificial colors, flavors or sweeteners at all. After drinking Shine+, I feel more alert, energetic, focused for my training session and I can bust out a lot of work on my laptop if that’s what I am doing at that stage… Like now, doing research and writing up this blog post. Thank you Shine+ haha. I guess it makes me think clearer, and I think it’s a fantastic add to the Australian supplement market. Ginko is derived from the leaves of the Ginko biloba tree and has been used in Chines medicine for decades as well as in several parts of the world for different cognitive function enhancing reasons. Ginko has been used widely for depression, anxiety, headaches, dizziness, tinnitus, confusion, reaction time, concentration and broadly used for memory improvement.

L-THEANINE (AMINO ACID FOUND IN GREEN TEA EXTRACT)

L-Theanine is an amino acid found in Green Tea Extract. It aids in enhancing concentration, quickens choice reaction time and in combination with caffeine it has been found to improve accuracy of rapid visual information and alertness.

CURCUMIN (FOUND IN TURMERIC)

Curcumin is found in Tumeric. In the right does, its relations to cognitive improvement relates to enhanced brain function and protecting against oxidative stress and reduces inflammation. Curcumin has also been linked to having a positive effect on epilepsy, stress, anxiety, traumatic brain injury, dementia and age related cognitive decline.

SIBERIAN GINSENG

Siberian Ginseng is an adaptogen, which is a substance that help your body deal with stress. It has also been found to boost your brains social functioning and mental component.

VITAMIN B6 and B12

Your vitamin B’s have a positive impact on your mood, and also helps you deal with stress.

GREEN TEA EXRACT

Consumption of tea- can lower levels of depression, stress and the occurrence of cognitive decline. Green tea has also been found to improve alertness, attention, mood, calmness, memory and spatial memory.
