CORE - 7 WEEK WORKOUT PLAN
Let’s tackle your Core!
The core 007 plan is all about strengthening your core. With combining in HIIT sessions and resistance training with plenty of stability work and core strength integrated- we work towards optimal health and a flat stomach. This 7 week exercise plan is split into 2 phases and the plan changes after 3 weeks to keep it interesting and so that you keep your body guessing what’s to come next!
7 Week Training Plan - Core
This is a full-body training program with emphasis on strengthening your core and working on losing body-fat for a flat stomach!
Your ‘core’ is the midsection of your body. It involves all muscles in your front, back and on your sides. Your core includes everything from your innermost layer of muscle- the traverse abdominis (TVA), your internal and external obliques, erector spinae that strengthen and rotates your back and your lower lats. The muscles in your core are stabilizers for your entire physique and a vital part to keep strong for a healthy body. Core training can be defined as doing specific exercises to develop and strengthen your midsections stabilizer muscles.

The core is the body’s centre of power. Weakened core muscles can result in many complications like lower back pain, poor posture, degraded balance or general weakness of the body. This plan is a whole-body gym plan, but with a core strengthening focus. You do need access to a gym to follow this plan. There are illustrations for how to perform each exercise. Seeing a trainer to help you with you form for the initial part of the program can be useful if you are unsure how to perform any of the exercises.
